- 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup crushed vanilla wafer cookies
- 1/4 cup instant banana pudding mix
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 bag (10 oz mini marshmallows)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 banana (sliced (for garnish, optional))
Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan with butter or nonstick spray. Set aside.
- Melt the butter: In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Melt the marshmallows: Add the mini marshmallows to the pot with the butter. Stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
- Mix in the pudding and vanilla: Remove from heat and stir in the banana pudding mix and vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Add the dry ingredients: Fold in the Rice Krispies cereal and crushed vanilla wafers, mixing until evenly coated.
- Press into the pan: Pour the mixture into the prepared pan. Use a buttered spatula to press it down evenly and firmly.
- Drizzle chocolate (optional): Melt the white chocolate chips and drizzle over the top if desired.
- Cool and garnish: Allow the bars to cool completely. Garnish with banana slices before serving if preferred.
