- 2–3 chicken breasts (pounded thin (approximately 1 pound))
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
- 1/4 cup Frank’s hot WINGS Sauce (for more heat or Frank’s ORIGINAL Hot Sauce (for less heat))
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lime juice
Instructions
Prepare chicken
- Pound 2-3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts to ½ inch thick.
Whisk together:
- ¼ cup Frank’s hot sauce (WINGS or ORIGINAL)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp each: garlic powder, chili powder, salt
- ½ tsp each: ground cumin, smoked paprika, onion powder
- ¼ tsp pepper
- Marinate chicken
- Place chicken in a bag or dish.
- Pour marinade over chicken.
- Let sit 30 minutes – 2 hours.
Preheat & sear
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in skillet over medium heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade (reserve marinade).
- Sear chicken 3-4 min per side until browned.
Make glaze & bake
- In a small bowl, mix reserved marinade with:
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1½ tsp lime juice.
- Transfer chicken to baking dish.
- Pour glaze over chicken.
- Bake 20-25 min until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
