- Combine wet ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Add liquids and dry ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Once everything is incorporated, stir in the hot water. The batter should be smooth and slightly runny.
