Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded coconut and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Press the coconut mixture evenly into a greased or parchment-lined baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top turns golden brown. Keep an eye on it!
  5. While the coconut mixture bakes, melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals or over a double boiler until smooth.
  6. Once the coconut layer has cooled slightly, pour the melted chocolate over the top and spread evenly with a spatula.
  7. Allow the bars to cool and set completely at room temperature, or refrigerate for 30 minutes for faster setting.
  8. Cut into squares or bars once the chocolate has hardened, and enjoy!
