- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 3.9 oz box instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- 1 cup melted peanut butter
- 1 8 oz container whipped topping (or 2 cups whipped cream)
- 1 ½ cups chopped peanut butter cups
- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray or butter.
- Make the Pudding: In a large bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk for about 2 minutes, until thickened.
- Combine Cake Mix: Gently fold in the dry chocolate cake mix. Stir until just combined — no need to overmix!
- Add to Baking Dish: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
- Swirl in Peanut Butter: Drizzle the melted peanut butter over the batter. Use a knife to swirl it through gently.
- Add Peanut Butter Cups: Sprinkle half of the chopped peanut butter cups on top of the batter.
