- 1 can (21 oz strawberry pie filling)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese with vanilla extract and sugar until smooth.
- Spread strawberry pie filling evenly in the baking dish.
- Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer; do not stir.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix evenly.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden and edges bubble.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
